Shirley A. Lenzini

Shirley A. Lenzini, 70, of Dowell, passed away at 12:36 A.M., Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Shirley had served as a librarian at Elverado High School from 1974 to 1984.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.
She was born May 14, 1933 at Elkville, IL, the daughter of Rollie F. and Golda R. (Barwick) Watson.
She married Johnny Lenzini on April 5, 1951 at Wamac, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Dowell, four daughters - Cindy Geiger and husband Nate of Herrin, Robin Allard and husband Wayde of Vergennes, Lisa Cochran and husband Jeff of Elkville, and Angela Sheehan and husband David of Du Quoin, two brothers - Joe Watson and wife Shirley of Murphysboro, and James Watson and wife Norma of Cobden, and eight grandchildren - Aaron White, Clinton Geiger, Ethan Geiger, Brice Allard, Dustin Allard, Rina Cochran, Jenna Cochran, and Andrew Sheehan
Preceded in death by her parents and one son - Johnny Lenzini Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Rosary was prayed at 9:30 A.M., Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
